Developer & Platform Guidelines
Welcome to the JoonWeb Developer Platform. By accessing our APIs, using the JoonWeb AI Plugin (ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Agent integrations), SDKs, or building .jw theme sections, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service as well as the JoonWeb primary terms at joonweb.com/terms-of-use.
1 Acceptable Use Policy
When building apps, integrating extensions, or invoking AI tools, you agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to stores, databases, or API credentials.
- Inject malicious code, obfuscated payloads, or illegal tracking scripts into client storefronts.
- Scrape merchant catalogues or customer databases in violation of rate limits or terms.
- Misrepresent apps or extensions as official JoonWeb core features without authorization.
2 API Usage & Rate Limits
All API calls are subject to standard rate limiting (40 requests/sec with burst protection) to maintain platform stability. Excessive calls exceeding your tier may be temporarily throttled. Automated abusive patterns will result in immediate API key revocation.
3 Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
- Your Code: You retain full ownership of custom applications, external backends, and bespoke theme designs built on JoonWeb.
- Platform Assets: The JoonWeb logo, trademarks, App Bridge scripts, SDKs, and Storefront Engine remain the exclusive property of JoonWeb.
4 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The developer platform, AI plugins, and APIs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. JoonWeb shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from developer downtime, API interruptions, or code modifications.
